AI-Ready Content as Code for HubSpot

TL;DR — Edit HubSpot pages as files in a Git repo, let any AI assistant do the work, and publish from HubSpot in one click.

Most HubSpot developers edit content and add SEO/AEO enhancements by hand using the online editor. You get no history. No diff. No way to use your own tools.

This project changes that. It keeps your HubSpot pages in a Git repo. This lets you edit your content using the AI of your choice. Then scripts push your content to the HubSpot draft buffer, where a reviewer can approve and publish using the HubSpot editor.

Every page is versioned in Git

This is the point. Each page starts as a committed baseline file. Each edit is a commit on top of it.

So you get:

  • a full history of every content change
  • a diff on every pull request, before anything reaches HubSpot
  • real code review on marketing copy
  • two rollback paths: the baseline file, and the HubSpot version history
  • line-by-line blame, so you know what changed and when

The files are either plain Markdown or HTML, plus YAML and JSON. Git handles them well. Your team reviews a copy change the same way it reviews a code change.

Bring your own AI

The tool ships no AI model. Any assistant can read and write the files: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or a local model. Switch assistants whenever you want. The workflow does not change.

The AI touches files only. The scripts do all HubSpot API work. So the AI never sees HubSpot credentials and never calls the API. The token stays in a .env file that Git ignores.

Skip the terminal

Leave the terminal for the step that counts. Review and publish using the HubSpot editor. You see the draft as a real page, check it, and publish with a button. A teammate who is allergic to terminals can do this.

Skip the commands by co-authoring content with an AI agent. Give plain-language instructions and let the agent edit the files, run the tool, and report the diffs. Switch to HubSpot to review and publish.

The same steps handle site pages, landing pages, and blog posts.
